When my husband and I met, neither of us was looking for a relationship. As it turns out, what you want and need are sometimes very different things.
Bob had just gotten divorced and I was separated from my husband. We were both just looking to make new friends and get a change of scenery. We had talked online a couple of times and agreed to meet for dinner.
From that night on we were inseparable.

I knew right then that Bob was the man I was going to fall in love with. I was dating a couple of guys that I met on Yahoo! Personals. I was just playing the field. With Bob, I didn't want to have to settle for anyone else. Let me tell you why.
A funeral serviceI knew right then that Bob was the man I was going to fall in love with I'm in the home health care field. The night of my first date with Bob turned out to be the night they were holding the funeral service for one of my patients. I was going to call and let Bob know that I might not be able to meet him, but something stopped me from picking up the phone. I finely decided that I could go meet Bob for dinner and then go to the service. That way if the date went wrong, I had a good excuse to leave early.
As soon as we met face to face, I knew I was not ever going to want to leave Bob. We talked about everything, and when he found out about my patient and how upset I was, he asked if I would like him to take me. He drove me an hour out of his way to the service of someone that he didn't know -- just because he did not want me to have to go through that alone then have to drive home crying.
It was such a loving gesture. To this day it warms my heart.

I had to have the windows covered to block out all the light and ended up having to quit my job since I was unable to leave my dark room. Bob took care of me 24/7 from that moment on. He took me to doctor's appointments, paid for my medicine, and the doctor's bills that I could not afford.
MarriedWe married a year after we met. To this day I am still unable to function like I had before, but he helps me every day to get a little better than before.

Success tips from Michelle- Don't give up! Do not settle for anyone who is less than the person you want to find. The right person will be looking for you, too.
