I love my career and I love romance as well. I am LTR minded and seeking a man with whom I can share the rest of my life. I believe that relationships are about two whole men coming together to form something greater than they could achieve alone– I’m looking for an ambitious equal.

I love going out for dinner and a movie, going to wine tastings, going hiking or canoeing, traveling, working on my car, and lots more. I'm all about spending quality time with quality friends. My ultimate goal is to settle down with the right man and forge a great life together.

Because of the nature of my work, my schedule is rather flexible and I enjoy participating in a variety of organizations, such as Toastmasters. I’m looking for a man who can share in some of my favorite activities... enjoy a quiet evening at home... go to a black tie affair in a posh restaurant... roughing it while hiking and camping in the woods. – and enjoy them all equally well.

I love to visit to The Bull & Bear Club on Wednesdays for Networking Night. Many of my friends go there and its one of my favorite places to relax and unwind over a martini and hors d’œuvres and chat about all sorts of things. I enjoy shooting a few rounds of pool and admiring the 21st floor view of downtown Richmond and the James River. There is little more romantic than a dinner for two at table 20 in the main dining room.

I love to read and listen to audio books. I read lots of business books and a little fiction. My favorite author is Ayn Rand. I also enjoy the works of Alan Weiss, Leonard Peikoff, Tom Clancy, and a variety of other writers. I look for an active mind in a man– one that likes to learn and discuss.

Hiking, camping and backpacking in Shenandoah National Park is a great way to enjoy nature and an even better way for two men to spend time learning ever more about each other and just plain enjoying the day. Canoeing down the James River is a great romantic day spent drifting lazily down the river...with the occasional white water to keep things even more interesting. When I can't get to the Great Outdoors, I love going to the gym and working out.

In addition to English, I speak some German and some Latvian. My dream come true would be a man who wants to learn Latvian with me. I'm fascinated by other cultures and love to learn about them.

I like to watch my favorite dramas and sci-fi shows after a productive work day. Some of my favorites are Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Boston Legal, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek: Voyager, Law & Order, The Closer, CSI... I’d really enjoy snuggling up on the couch with a nice glass of wine– enjoying a quiet evening at home together watching shows we both enjoy or just chatting while music plays and a fire crackles in the fireplace.

I’m a strong willed individual with strong opinions and values–and I respect the same in another man. My ideal man is one I see as my own personal hero who inspires me with his goals as much as I inspire him with mine--and we can work towards all of them together. After all, life is about success and enjoyment.
