Since I moved here from China, I've been lucky to have friends who shared some awesome outdoor experiences with me, including hiking, rock climbing, and skiing. I hope to improve my skills at all of these activities, and share them with you, too. In addition to enjoying these sports that were new to me, other sports and hobbies I enjoy include swing/ballroom dancing, listening to music, playing ping-pong and racquetball, and going to movies. I'm a single mom with a wonderful and well-adjusted pre-teen who sometimes likes to "hang" with mom but doesn't mind giving me time on my own.

I'm looking for someone who will enjoy an active presence, as well as a relaxed role, with us. My ideal life partner is someone who enjoys the simpler things in life. He is honest and sincere, with a strong work ethic but who knows how to balance a challenging but rewarding work life with a life and family outside of work.

I believe there are many parts that come together to create a successful relationship - give and take, appreciation, tolerance, listening, compromising, and sometimes, simply "being" together. I also believe that although a couple can "develop" love for each other, that more often it's an immediate "chemistry" that motivates two people to develop a balanced relationship.
